Job description

Responsibilities:
Business Development
  • Research and identify prospective pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare organizations.
  • Build targeted prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or other sales tools.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through cold calls, email, and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Connect with key decision-makers, including Sales, Commercial, and Learning & Development leaders.
  • Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the Business Development team.
  • Follow structured outreach campaigns and maintain consistent follow-up.
  • Stay informed on pharmaceutical industry trends, product launches, and commercial growth opportunities.
  • You will be held accountable to comply with all defined business processes and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by Aquinas.

Sales Operations & Administrative Support
  • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in the CRM.
  • Coordinate meetings and manage calendars for the sales team.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and follow-up communications.
  • Track outreach activity, pipeline metrics, and sales reports.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity and update sales opportunities.

Collaboration
  • Partner with sales leaders to generate qualified sales opportunities.
  • Work with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and follow-up initiatives.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights to improve outreach strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement of sales processes and business development efforts.

Requirements:
  • Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to necessary people, departments, and customers
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales, recruiting, customer service, or business development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging new prospects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or another CRM.
  • Experience using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools.
  • Previous cold calling or appointment-setting experience.
  • Interest in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry.
