Position Summary
The Talent Development Manager will lead the design, execution, and evolution of our learning and development strategy, partnering closely with the VP, People & Culture to build organizational capability and leadership strength. This role oversees a small team of Talent Development Specialists and is responsible for delivering high-impact learning programs that align with business priorities.
As a hands-on leader, you will play a critical role in shaping our leadership development approach, including the design and launch of a comprehensive Leadership Training program. You will also collaborate closely with the Change Management function to ensure employees are effectively equipped to navigate organizational transformations.
This role is well suited for an experienced talent development professional ready to take on broader ownership, combining strategic thinking with strong execution capability.
Responsibilities
Talent Development Strategy & Leadership
  • Partner with the VP, People & Culture to define and execute a talent development strategy aligned with business goals
  • Lead and develop a team of TD Specialists, providing coaching, clear direction, and ongoing development to drive individual and team success
  • Identify organizational capability gaps and translate them into scalable development solutions
  • Define success metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives, leveraging data to continuously evolve talent development strategies
Leadership Development
  • Design, launch, and continuously enhance a comprehensive Leadership Training program
  • Assess leadership capability needs and build targeted development pathways for emerging and established leaders
  • Partner with senior leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and build succession pipelines
  • Embed a culture of continuous feedback, coaching, and growth
Learning & Development Programs
  • Lead the design and delivery of engaging learning programs across multiple modalities (in-person, virtual, and digital)
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all training initiatives delivered by the team
  • Partner with internal subject matter experts to develop relevant, business-driven content
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve programs based on feedback, data, and changing business needs
  • Leverage learning technologies (e.g., Articulate, Percipio, Lattice) to design, deliver, and scale impactful programs
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve program effectiveness and learner experience
Change Enablement
  • Partner closely with the Change Management team to design and deliver training that supports organizational transformations and builds company-wide change capabilities ย 
  • Translate change initiatives into clear, actionable learning experiences for employees and leaders
  • Ensure training supports adoption, engagement, and sustained behavior change
Performance & Development Support
  • Work closely with P&C Manger to support and enhance performance management and development planning processes
  • Equip leaders with tools and guidance for effective goal setting, feedback, and team development
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and career growth

Qualifications
  • 5โ€“8 years of experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, or Organizational Development
  • Proven experience designing and delivering leadership development programs
  • Experience leading programs or projects, with exposure to team leadership or oversight
  • Experience with learning technologies (e.g., LMS/LXP, content authoring tools)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering cross-functionally and influencing senior leaders
  • Excellent instructional design and facilitation skills across multiple learning formats
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable learning solutions, balancing strategy and execution
  • Data-driven approach, with experience measuring and improving program effectiveness
  • Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) designation is an asset
