Dana-co, a leading designer and distributor of premium intimate apparel brands including Natori, Skarlett Blue, and Oh La La Chri, is seeking a Merchandise Planner to support strategic merchandise planning and inventory management across our wholesale business. This role supports key retail partnerships across department stores, specialty retailers, and marketplace accounts.


The Merchandise Planner will partner closely with Sales, Production, Operations, and cross-functional teams to align demand, inventory strategy, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced apparel environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain seasonal, monthly, and account-level merchandise and inventory plans
  • Support demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management processes across wholesale channels
  • Incorporate customer forecasts, bookings, replenishment trends, and sales performance into planning strategies
  • Analyze sell-through, inventory levels, margin performance, and business trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reporting to support business decisions and forecasting accuracy
  • Partner closely with Sales, Production, Sourcing, and Operations teams to align inventory flow and delivery timing
  • Support pricing, margin, and assortment analysis
  • Maintain and update planning data within ERP and reporting systems
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed


Qualifications

  • 27 years of merchandise planning, inventory planning, allocation, or related experience within wholesale apparel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Experience working with ERP or planning systems; BlueCherry experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Experience in apparel, fashion, or intimate apparel preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field preferred
