Position Summary

We provide our services virtually for a wide array of clients across various industries. Our team handles a wide range of accounting tasks, offering a dynamic career rather than focusing solely on one aspect of accounting.

The Manager of Accounting Services oversees accounting operations, ensures financial accuracy, and manages client accounts. This role involves supervising a remote team and requires an ideal candidate who is detail-oriented, versed in accounting principles, and skilled in process improvement. As a strategic problem-solver, you'll use your leadership to serve a diverse clientele and manage team resources effectively.


Key Responsibilities

Client & Team Management

  • Act as an advisor for a diverse book of business, creating personalized solutions for clients
  • Identify and address key account concerns with the use of team expertise and technology
  • Lead and supervise a team of Staff Accountants, ensuring quality and company standards
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize processes and establish efficient operational practices
  • Complete ad hoc projects including operational analysis and client initiatives

Financial Oversight & Reporting:

  • Manage financial reporting and closing procedures for various clients
  • Provide expert-level service in bookkeeping, journal entries, financial statements, and more
  • Enhance financial reporting practices while ensuring compliance with regulations
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in management
  • Experience in public accounting or financial services
Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems

Compensation and Benefits
