iQuasar LLC is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager on behalf of our client, a leading professional services organization specializing in accounting advisory and financial reporting for privately held businesses. In this role, you will support companies through post-close accounting activities, including Purchase Price Accounting (PPA), Net Working Capital (NWC) true-ups, ERP implementations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, client engagement management experience, and the ability to lead financial transformation initiatives.One of our clients needs a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager for a Full time position.
 
Title: Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager – Post-Close Acquisition
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Work Arrangement: Full-Time
 
Position Description & Responsibilities
  • Lead post-close accounting engagements following mergers and acquisitions.
  • Prepare opening balance sheet adjustments and purchase accounting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage Purchase Price Accounting (PPA) processes and Net Working Capital (NWC) true-ups.
  • Support clients through complex accounting transition and integration activities.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting, inventory accounting, and equity transactions.
  • Review financial statements and ensure strict accuracy and compliance with all accounting standards.
  • Lead accounting software implementations and system data migration projects.
  • Evaluate existing accounting workflows and confidently recommend process improvements.
  • Design reporting structures, operational accounting procedures, and internal controls.
  • Serve as the primary, strategic point of contact for assigned client engagements.
  • Review work performed by accounting staff and actively mentor junior team members.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 to 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with post-close accounting and M&A integration.
  • Hands-on background handling Purchase Price Accounting (PPA) and Net Working Capital (NWC) true-ups.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically including ASC 606.
  • Experience with modern accounting platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Ramp, or Bill.com.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and a proven capability to lead engagements.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior background in transaction advisory or outsourced client accounting services (CAS).
  • Strong understanding of private company accounting operations and scalability.
  • Comfort in independently leading complex accounting projects and working directly with executive clients.
