Job Summary:
The Project Manager, Emerging Technologies, is responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional projects across the Moore enterprise to ensure successful execution and delivery. This role will manage a diverse portfolio of initiatives - spanning technology implementations, operational programs, and strategic enterprise projects - while also providing project management support for emerging technology efforts such as AI enablement and innovation programs as needed. The Project Manager will manage project timelines, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and ensure alignment with project objectives and organizational priorities. This role will play a key part in maintaining project standards and supporting a culture of continuous improvement in project execution.
This is a full-time, salaried US-based remote role.

Your Impact:
Project Management Execution
  • Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of assigned projects across the Moore enterprise, ranging from technology implementations and operational initiatives to cross-functional strategic programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, milestones, owners, dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address issues and roadblocks.
  • Ensure timely communication of project updates, risks, and changes to stakeholders and executive sponsors.

Project Planning & Coordination
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to scope projects and create detailed project charters.
  • Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team members - including product owners, engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and business stakeholders - to ensure project alignment and accountability.
  • Track and report on project status, performance metrics, and outcomes, translating technical progress into clear business updates when applicable.

Emerging Technology Support
  • Provide project management support for emerging technology initiatives as needed, including AI enablement, automation efforts, and innovation programs.
  • Help define success criteria and measurement frameworks for technology pilots and experiments.
  • Document lessons learned from pilots and implementations to inform future technology adoption decisions.
  • Stay current with trends in emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, automation, generative AI) to provide informed context during project planning.

Project Tools & Best Practices
  • Apply standard project management methodologies and tools, adapting frameworks as needed for different project types (e.g., iterative, agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
  • Maintain documentation and ensure consistent use of project templates and processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project practices and knowledge sharing across the Emerging Technologies team and broader enterprise.

Your Profile:
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional and technical teams.
  • Versatility in managing different types of projects, from operational initiatives to technology-driven programs.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Exposure to or interest in emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, automation, cloud platforms) is a plus.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing software, technology, or cross-functional projects.
