Duties
  • Manage inventory control by accurately tracking stock levels using RF scanners and warehouse management systems such as AS400.
  • Operate heavy equipment, including reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
  • Perform order picking and packing tasks with precision to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate shipping.
  • Load and unload shipments using appropriate heavy equipment, ensuring proper material handling to prevent damage or injury.
  • Conduct stock replenishment, stocking, and warehouse distribution activities while maintaining organized storage areas.
  • Support shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
  • Assist in packaging products in accordance with specifications and safety standards while adhering to OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve inventory management processes, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in warehouse operations and materials handling.
  • Valid certification for operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms; experience with RF scanners is a plus.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods; physical stamina is essential.
  • Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock accuracy.
