Job description

Position Summary:

We are looking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) Office Manager to oversee day to day operations, including recruitment, hiring and the management of clients and staff.  This role ensures high-quality care services are provided to the clients while maintaining efficient office operations and compliance with all regulatory standards.  The DSP Office Manager will play a key leadership role in staffing, scheduling, client service coordination, and administrative support.  

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified DSPs and support staff.

 Conduct interviews, background checks, and coordinate onboarding processes.

Ensure compliance with all hiring regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements.

Supervise DSPs and administrative staff, providing coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.

Develop staff schedules ensuring appropriate coverage based on client needs.

Facilitate staff training programs, ensuring compliance with state and agency policies.

Client Management & Coordination

Oversee client service plans and ensure they are implemented according to individual care requirements.

Maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and external care coordinators.

Address client concerns promptly and ensures service quality standards are met.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services and attract clients

Manage social media accounts, website updates, and promotional materials

Represent the organization at community events, job fairs, and networking opportunities

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, associate or bachelor's degree.

Minimum 2 years of experience in DSP, healthcare, or social services management

Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/recruitment platforms

Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver programs and state regulations (preferred)

Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Build relationships with referral sources, agencies, and community partners

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience managing a team of DSPs or caregivers.

Knowledge fo DODD regulations.

Strong problem solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Work Schedule:

Full-Time (Monday - Friday), occasional after-hours support as needed.
