Job description

The Cross-Functional Programs and Partnerships Manager is responsible for shaping, coordinating and driving the successful execution of strategic ICT initiatives spanning multiple business domains, regions, organizations and external ecosystems. Operating in a highly matrixed environment, the role acts as a trusted integrator between Business, Enterprise Architecture, ICT Domains, Regional Organizations and external partners, ensuring that initiatives are properly understood, scoped, designed, funded and executed in alignment with Stellantis strategic objectives and standards. The role starts well before execution begins. It requires the ability to understand business objectives, challenge assumptions, facilitate the definition of the most appropriate target solution, coordinate architecture and domain experts, assess implementation options and prepare realistic cost, effort and delivery evaluations supporting investment and prioritization decisions. A key mission of the role is to promote convergence-by-design across all initiatives. Convergence does not necessarily mean deploying identical ICT solutions everywhere. Instead, it means continuously identifying and advocating for the most appropriate convergent solution considering business priorities, local constraints, regulatory requirements, implementation complexity and long-term value creation for Stellantis. The role requires exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, including direct interaction with senior leaders up to VP and SVP level, and strong team-building skills to orchestrate multidisciplinary teams composed of Business and ICT contributors, without direct hierarchical authority. The position is also expected to act as a catalyst for Artificial Intelligence adoption, actively identifying opportunities to leverage AI in order to accelerate delivery, improve decision-making, increase operational efficiency and maximize the value generated by the programs under management.

Key responsibilities:

Transformation Shaping & Solution Definition

  • Facilitate the understanding of business objectives, operational challenges and strategic priorities driving new initiatives.
  • Coordinate Business stakeholders, Enterprise Architecture and ICT Domain teams to assess solution alternatives and define target scenarios.
  • Lead the preliminary definition of implementation strategies, scope, milestones, dependencies and delivery approaches.
  • Support the development of business cases through realistic assessments of implementation costs, timelines, risks and organizational impacts.
  • Ensure investment decisions are based on integrated end-to-end evaluations rather than local optimizations.
  • Challenge assumptions and identify simplification opportunities before solutions are approved and funded.

Convergence & Strategic Alignment

  • Promote convergence-by-design across all initiatives, balancing standardization objectives with regional, business and regulatory requirements
  • Continuously challenge process, data and application fragmentation.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize reuse of platforms, capabilities, data models and operating practices.
  • Assess local requirements against global convergence strategies and facilitate informed trade-off decisions.
  • Ensure convergence principles are embedded throughout the lifecycle of all initiatives, from concept definition through deployment and stabilization.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Stellantis convergence roadmap and target landscape.

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of strategic cross-program initiatives spanning multiple ICT domains, business functions and geographical regions.
  • Establish and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
  • Monitor progress, delivery readiness and implementation risks.
  • Drive execution discipline and promote accountability across all participating stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful delivery of expected business outcomes and benefits.

Business & Executive Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with Business and ICT leaders across the organization.
  • Act as the primary coordination interface between Business, ICT Domains, Regions and external partners.
  • Facilitate alignment and decision-making across stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Prepare and present concise, executive-ready communication material, recommendations and decision support packages.
  • Support governance forums and executive reviews with clear, fact-based reporting.

Cross-Functional Team Leadership

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams composed of Business, ICT and external partner resources.
  • Create alignment and commitment across organizations operating in a matrix environment.
  • Build collaborative relationships and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and drive consensus when multiple organizations are involved.

Partnerships, Cooperations & Joint Ventures

  • Support the definition and execution of ICT activities related to partnerships, Joint Ventures and cooperation programs.
  • Ensure alignment between partner expectations, business objectives and Stellantis standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the initiatives.
  • Support governance, planning and execution activities involving external ecosystems.

AI-Driven Transformation & Innovation

  • Identify and promote Artificial Intelligence opportunities across the programs under management.
  • Assess how AI can improve business processes, program execution and operational performance.
  • Work with Business and ICT stakeholders to identify, prioritize and accelerate AI-enabled transformation opportunities.
  • Ensure AI considerations are integrated into target solution assessments and program roadmaps whenever relevant.

Governance, Economic Tracking & Communication

  • Maintain visibility of program status, risks, issues, dependencies and key decisions.
  • Monitor implementation assumptions, costs and value realization throughout program execution.
  • Support prioritization and arbitration discussions through structured analysis and scenario evaluation.
  • Produce high-quality governance and reporting materials tailored to different leadership audiences.
  • Ensure consistency of communication and messaging across all stakeholders involved.

Key Deliverables

  • Business case support packages including scope, solution options, cost estimates and implementation assumptions.
  • Target solution assessments and convergence recommendations.
  • Integrated program plans and roadmaps.
  • Executive status reports and steering committee materials.
  • Risk, issue and dependency registers.
  • Program governance and decision logs.
  • Business readiness and deployment coordination plans.
  • Partner and cooperation governance deliverables.
  • AI opportunity assessments and adoption roadmaps.
  • Executive presentations and decision-support packages.
  • Cross-functional action plans and tracking mechanisms.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree (MBA, Technology Management, Engineering Management, or related discipline) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years leading large-scale, cross-functional programs spanning multiple business functions, technology domains, and geographical regions.
  • Significant experience in Program Management, Transformation Management, Strategic Portfolio Management or similar leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of complex ICT transformation environments and cross-functional business processes.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and solution evaluation methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including interaction with executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation and team-building skills.
  • Good understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies, use cases and adoption frameworks.
