Job description

Netflix is looking for a Senior Content Designer our Acquisition team. The successful candidate will combine creative leadership and superior communication skills with a passion for user experience design and entertainment.
The Role
You'll use language and design to inspire people all over the world to sign up for Netflix, working across our Mobile, Web and TV platforms. As part of a cross-functional team, you'll test new ideas and approaches to content design that inform, educate, guide, and delight while creating business value.
The Team
You'll join a collaborative group of Content Designers who partner with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists and Consumer Researchers. You'll also work closely with Globalization to make sure our product is amazing around the world.
Your Skills
  • You're able to write copy that converts, and you know when to flex your writing style between creative and tactical to communicate the value of a Netflix membership to a global audience.
  • You use words and tone of voice to bring products to life and align with our brand personality.
  • You're comfortable with experiment design, and working closely with Designers, Product Marketing and Product Managers to develop hypotheses and test plans.
  • You're a storyteller at heart who can craft and orchestrate cohesive narratives across channels.
  • You're a systems thinker who excels at developing scalable language frameworks.
  • You communicate productively with visual thinkers and will be comfortable advocating for your point of view in our candid, feedback-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • You'll work on several projects at once, providing concepting, content strategy, and writing from early ideation through final execution.
  • You'll initiate your own innovation projects and identify opportunities to join existing projects to elevate the quality of their communications.

Qualifications
  • 5 years relevant writing experience (Content Strategy, Marketing, UX Writing)
  • Experience with a/b testing preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions independently
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and people skills
  • Mastery of AP style, with the confidence to know when to break the rules

The Role: This is a full-time position. It reports to the Content Design Manager on the Growth XD team.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $120,000-$515,000
