Construction Quality Control Program - Job Description

The Construction Quality Control Program is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Control Plan that ensures all construction activities, materials, and workmanship comply with contract documents, technical specifications, and project requirements. This role establishes quality standards, inspection procedures, testing protocols, and oversight processes to deliver construction work that meets performance, safety, and regulatory expectations.

The position oversees all quality control activities throughout the construction lifecycle, including coordination with subcontractors, vendors, testing agencies, and project stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing document control, reviewing submittals, verifying materials and equipment compliance, monitoring corrective actions, and ensuring only approved construction documents are utilized in the field.

This role leads and administers quality inspections and testing programs using structured inspection phases including pre-work coordination, initial inspection, follow-up inspection, completion inspection, and final acceptance activities. The Quality Control team monitors workmanship standards, validates testing results, tracks deficiencies, and confirms corrective actions before progressing to subsequent construction activities.

Additionally, the Quality Control Program is responsible for maintaining complete quality documentation, test reports, certifications, and compliance records while supporting project closeout and final turnover. The function ensures timely reporting of quality issues, implementation of corrective measures, and continuous alignment with contract requirements to minimize risk and maintain project delivery standards.

Qualifications:

Must have held a similar role for at least 10 recent years, preferably in an airport setting
