We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who will guide one or more strategic technology products for BYU-Pathway. As our technology systems form the virtual campus for online learning, we provide products that help students, instructors, mentors, missionaries, and administrators find joy and success in their efforts. We have a team of product managers and the specific product assignment will depend on the skills and experience of the hired candidate.
The position is located within commuting distance of BYU-Pathway headquarters in downtown Salt Lake City, working hybrid-remote (currently 1-2 days per week in the office).

6+ year successful track record in technology product management
Bachelor's degree or higher; Master's preferred
Experience managing and developing enterprise applications (higher ed systems preferred)
Proven experience shaping product strategy, writing requirements, creating roadmaps, and prioritizing work for development
Experience managing a significant product budget
Is naturally proactive, consistently seeking to improve how they accomplish their work
Is an excellent written and oral communicator
Extensive experience managing expectations of senior leaders, stakeholders, and customers
Fluency using product management tools and frameworks
Formal product management training and/or certifications preferred
Experience with higher ed systems such as SIS, LMS, CRM preferred
Experience delivering products for disadvantaged populations in global markets preferred
Ensure assigned products are driving intended business outcomes for BYU-Pathway's strategic priorities
Develop a deep understanding of BYU-Pathway business strategy and needs of our customers
Focus on reducing friction, delighting customers, and improving the customer experience
Perform all product lifecycle activities for assigned products, including product strategy, discovery, planning, prioritization, guiding development, roadmaps, stakeholder alignment, measuring and reporting, and more
Mentor less-experienced product managers and add strength to our product management team
Lead cross-functional product councils, aligning business needs with product plans and resources
Partner closely with development to deliver new product features effectively and efficiently
Carefully manage and track an annual product budget
Identify, measure, and report key product metrics
Stay current on product alternatives, industry trends, and best practices
Manage expectations through skillful and transparent communication and collaboration
Rigorously document key product artifacts including roadmaps, requirements, and backlog
Drive execution of product work, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks to successful delivery
Build trust by cultivating relationships, executing with precision, and keeping commitments
