Job description


Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center responds to the rights, needs, and concerns of its residents, families, and staff by creating a caring environment in which each person is respected for their individuality and treated with kindness, dignity, and respect.


Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center
is looking for a PRN Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide rehabilitation services to our residents! 
Responsibilities: 

  • Provide occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with established standards of practice under the direction of the Occupational therapist. 

  • Conduct screening of residents at regular intervals to determine need for intervention/treatment as allowed by state practice act, company policy, and under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist. 

  • Assist the Occupational therapist in the evaluation of residents as directed. 

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist with the development of treatment plans as directed. 

  • Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with the Occupational therapist and other team members. 

  • Conduct treatment according to the established treatment plan. 

  • Monitor resident's response to intervention and discuss adaption of treatment. 

  • Participate in discharge planning. 


Qualifications: 

  • Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. 

  • Current licensure as Occupational therapy Assistant in practicing states(s)

  • Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
