This position is centered on helping to improve the flow of projects that go through the Communication team at BYU-Pathway Worldwide and is expected to keep up with a professional environment and quick pace. Being teachable, perceptive, and proficient at learning is required to effectively manage the competing demands and priorities associated with this position.
This position may include and is not limited to various administrative and event-related tasks ranging from working with a team, to completing projects and tasks on schedule, event coordination, and promotional material inventory management. The paid position is in Salt Lake City with no benefits and allows for hybrid remote work. Hours can be between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday for a total of 20 hours a week to accommodate student schedules. Working in the Salt Lake City office 1-2 days per week is preferred.

To qualify for student employment, you must be enrolled as a degree/certificate-seeking matriculated student at a CES educational institution (BYU, BYU-Idaho including online, BYU-Hawaii, Ensign College including online) OR taking PathwayConnect for the first time. Additional requirements are as follows:
Must reside within the state of Utah
Event coordination experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Highly professional, with mature judgment and demeanor

- Work with a team to complete projects and tasks on schedule.
- Present proposals, create tasks, determine deadlines, and assign projects.
- Assist with event coordination and execution.
- Order, track, and organize promotional material inventory.
- Complete special projects.
- Work directly with the Project Management Manager and others as needed.
