Our Graduate Associate Program is a fulltime, immersive, postgraduate opportunity designed for recent college graduates who are ready to gain realworld experience in a fastpaced, professional sports organization. This program offers handson learning, meaningful responsibility, and exposure to leaders across the business — all while working in a collaborative, highenergy environment.

This position will start on 8/24/26 and run through early July 2027. 

A quick summary about the Graduate Associate role:

The Basketball Operations Graduate Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the front office with an emphasis on scouting process logistics. Prior basketball-related experience is essential. 

What the Graduate Associate will be responsible for:

  • Assist in managing internal scouting calendar, including (but not limited to): credential/ticket requests, delivery, and follow-up; staff communication.
  • Conduct season-long, scouting-based research projects as assigned.
  • Take notes in various settings – meetings, touch bases, etc.
  • Provide support with logistics throughout pre-draft process.
  • Create and deliver a variety of film edits to Basketball Operations staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What the Graduate Associate needs to have:

  • Post Grad (recent college graduates within 24 months of graduation) or graduate-level college students required.
  • Prior basketball-related experience as a coach, player, manager, or with a sports agency required.
  • Knowledge/understanding of player evaluation preferred.
  • Experience with various digital video platforms utilized in team environments preferred.
  • Basic understanding of basketball-related analytics. Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products and other related computer skills required.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on business writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong team synergy skills and ability to work collaboratively with others whom you have no direct authority over.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport with others and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills.

Relocation Information:

  • Relocation and housing expenses are the responsibility of the Graduate Associate (Please note that while we have a hybrid work model, this does require you to live and work out of the Orlando, Florida area.)

Working Hours:

  • Office Hours - M-F, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
  • Based on role determines in office and remote working by the manager
  • Most Associates work all game nights (44 home games + playoffs and finals) including weekends and holidays
