The Center for Healthy Living, an Axia Women's Health care center, is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner - Women's Wellness and Menopause Care.
This specialized Nurse Practitioner provides specialized, evidence-based virtual care for patients with menopause-related concerns, including sexual health, bone health, sleep, and other aspects of midlife women's health. The role serves both self-referred patients and those referred by Axia OB/GYN providers, providing focused evaluation, treatment, education, and follow-up. This position complements care provided in Axia's in-person practices by serving as a specialty resource for patients requiring additional expertise or focused management, while maintaining communication with the referring provider and supporting continuity of care with the patient's established OB/GYN as the primary coordinator of their overall gynecologic and menopause care.
Specialty Menopause Care
  • Provide comprehensive virtual evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, education, and follow-up for patients experiencing menopause-related symptoms and concerns.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for menopause-related conditions and symptom domains, including sexual health and wellness, osteoporosis and bone health, sleep, and other long-term consequences or sequelae of menopause.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that may include hormone therapy, non-hormonal therapies, lifestyle interventions, patient education, and appropriate referrals.
  • Provide care for both self-referred patients and patients referred by Axia OB/GYN providers.
  • Communicate relevant clinical findings, recommendations, and treatment plans to referring OB/GYN, when applicable, following patient visits.
  • Support continuity and coordination of care with the patient's established OB/GYN provider and other members of the care team.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based menopause care and specialty-specific guidelines, including recommendations from the Menopause Society and other relevant professional organizations.

General Menopause Care
  • Provide comprehensive menopause symptom management for patients referred by Axia OB/GYN providers who may benefit from additional virtual menopause expertise or support.
  • Evaluate and manage common menopause-related concerns, including vasomotor symptoms, mood changes, weight and metabolic concerns, cognitive symptoms, and other manifestations of menopause, within the APP's scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with referring OB/GYN provider when patients present with complex symptoms or require care beyond the scope of the virtual menopause program.
  • Identify and appropriately refer non-menopause-related medical concerns to patient's OB/GYN, primary care provider, or other appropriate specialist rather than managing conditions outside the scope of the program.
  • Participate in quality review of virtual care outcomes, clinical metrics, and patient experience data.

Program Development & Network Support
  • Serve as an active member of the Menopause Clinician Workgroup, providing clinical expertise, feedback, and thought leadership.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols, workflows, patient education, and provider resources.
  • Develop educational materials and resources related to complex menopause symptom management that can be shared across the Axia network.
  • Support provider education and awareness of available virtual menopause and sexual wellness services.
  • Collaborate with the Menopause Medical Director and broader clinical team to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement and program development.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in menopause management, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT), non-hormonal treatment options, and management of complex patients and symptoms.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in menopause-related concerns, particularly sexual health and wellness, bone health/osteoporosis, sleep, and other midlife women's health issues.
  • Strong clinical judgement and ability to independently evaluate and manage patients through virtual care.
  • Comfortable delivering care across telehealth modalities and effectively engaging patients in a virtual environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly when coordinating care with referring OB/GYNs and other clinicians.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain additional state licensure as required to support Axia's virtual care model.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patients-centered care and continuous clinical learning.
  • Resides in NJ or PA

Required Education & Experience:
  • Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Master of Science (MS), or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
  • Board certification as a WHNP, FNP, ANP, or AGNP.
  • Current, unrestricted advanced practice licensure in at least one of the following states: NJ, PA, KY, or IN.
  • Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) credential or actively pursuing credential.
  • 2+ years of specialized menopause management experience, including managing complex patients and side-effects and symptoms.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in menopause management, including prescribing and managing hormone therapy and treating and managing complex patients and symptoms.
  • Experience developing clinical education, provider resources, or program materials.
  • Experience participating in clinical program development, workgroups, or quality improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) a plus.

Benefits:
  • Group-paid Malpractice Insurance coverage.
  • Group-reimbursed licensure and renewals.
  • Full-time benefit-eligibility with benefits beginning the first of the month after starting and choice of multiple medical insurance plans.
  • No-cost healthcare perks included with your Axia Medical Plan, including Revive (Telemedicine), Quantum Health (Healthcare Concierge), and Hinge Health (Virtual Physical Therapy)
  • Additional insurance options, including dental, vision, supplemental life insurance, FSA, HSA, identity theft, long term care, pet insurance and more!
  • 401(k) with employer match.
  • PTO with additional PTO for CE attendance.
  • Reimbursement allowance for approved professional expenses, e.g., CME.
  • Group-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability.
  • Access to discounts on Hotels, Theme Parks, Gym Memberships, and more through the Great Work Perks Program.
  • The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role. However, final offers may fall outside this range based on experience, skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
