We're looking for an experienced Make-Ready Maintenance Technician who takes pride in transforming vacant apartments into homes that new residents are excited to move into.

In addition to competitive hourly pay, eligible Make-Ready Technicians have the opportunity to earn monthly renewal commissions, recognizing the important role they play in resident retention and the overall success of the community.

As our Make-Ready Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, move-in-ready apartment homes by:

• Complete apartment turns on schedule while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
• Repair and prepare vacant apartments, including drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, doors, trim, fixtures, and general carpentry.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC repairs.
• Replace light fixtures, faucets, blinds, locks, and other apartment components as needed.
• Complete punch-list items and perform final quality inspections before resident move-ins.
• Ensure every apartment is clean, safe, and ready for occupancy.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and community improvement projects.
• Support the maintenance team with resident service requests during high-volume periods.
• Maintain an organized shop and follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

We're looking for a maintenance professional who takes ownership of their work and enjoys seeing the results of a job well done.

Qualifications include:

• Two or more years of apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred.
• Experience completing apartment turns in a multifamily community.
• Working knowledge of painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, flooring, and general maintenance.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple apartment turns.
• Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and strong work ethic.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
