Job description

City Cave Southlake is a premier wellness spa offering float therapy, infrared sauna, and massage services. As one of the first City Cave locations in the U.S., we're building a guest experience rooted in genuine care, relationship-driven service, and results for both our members and our team.
Position Summary
We're looking for a driven, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations and drive measurable results across membership growth, revenue, and guest experience. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, who doesn't just manage a shift, but actively pushes performance forward every day.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Results:
  • Own daily and weekly KPIs (membership sales, package sales, retention, guest visits) and take direct action to hit targets
  • Support and coach front-of-house and back-of-house team members toward individual and spa-wide sales goals
  • Identify trends in the Daily Scoreboard and adjust staffing or coaching in response
Operations Leadership:
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across float, sauna, and massage services
  • Uphold facility maintenance and cleanliness standards using established BOH checklists
  • Ensure scheduling, booking (myTime), and service delivery run without friction
Team Development:
  • Support onboarding and training for new team members, including practitioners
  • Reinforce role expectations for all staff
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to build a high-performing, guest-first culture
Guest Experience:
  • Model and enforce a human-first, relationship-driven approach to every guest interaction
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Champion the City Cave brand standard in every interaction
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, ideally in wellness, spa, fitness, or hospitality
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding sales and performance targets
  • Strong communication and coaching skills; comfortable holding team members accountable
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Familiarity with booking/POS systems (myTime experience a plus)
  • A genuine passion for wellness and guest care
What Success Looks Like
  • Consistent achievement of monthly membership and revenue targets
  • A well-trained, engaged team that delivers on brand standards
  • Smooth, well-run shifts with minimal escalations
  • Positive guest feedback and strong retention metrics
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive pay
  • Performance-based commission on membership and package sales
  • Employee discount on services
  • Opportunity for growth within a fast-expanding wellness brand
