Job description

Amazon Business (AB) is a global B2B marketplace operating across 11+ countries. We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead finance transformation initiatives across AB's worldwide FP&A organization. This role will drive standardization, automation, and scalable efficiency improvements that accelerate how finance teams generate insights, close the books, and support business decisions.
The successful candidate will own the strategy and execution of financial process transformation - identifying manual workflows, designing scalable solutions, and building the infrastructure that enables AB Finance to operate faster and more accurately at global scale

This includes leading automation of reporting and analytical processes, building data architecture that improves trust and accessibility of financial information, and developing AI-assisted capabilities that shift finance teams from manual production to strategic analysis.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will work across the full AB Finance organization - partnering with FP&A, controllership, planning, and business partnership teams - to identify the highest-impact transformation opportunities and deliver them end-to-end. You will build mechanisms that scale across geographies and business segments, reducing cycle times and improving quality for financial close, monthly reporting, and planning processes.
The ideal candidate combines deep finance fundamentals with a passion for systems thinking, process improvement, and emerging technology

You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and measure success by the operational impact delivered to finance teams and business partners.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the roadmap for finance process transformation across AB FP&A - identifying, prioritizing, and delivering automation and efficiency initiatives
- Design and build scalable data infrastructure that improves accuracy, accessibility, and speed of financial reporting and analysis
- Lead development of AI-assisted analytical capabilities - training, validating, and deploying intelligent tools that augment finance team capacity
- Drive standardization of financial close, reporting, and planning processes across AB's global footprint (11+ countries, multiple business segments)
- Partner with finance teams to identify manual bottlenecks, design solutions, and measure time savings and quality improvements
- Build quality assurance mechanisms that improve controllership and reduce defect rates in financial outputs
- Develop reusable frameworks and documentation that enable transformation solutions to scale beyond initial implementation
- Communicate transformation progress, impact metrics, and strategic recommendations to Senior Finance Leadership (Director and VP level)
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners including GFS, ABFA (data engineering), and enterprise technology teams to align infrastructure investments
About the team
Amazon Business is a B2B marketplace on Amazon.com that gives businesses of all sizes access to hundreds of millions of products in a shopping experience built for businesses. In Amazon Business we are building the future of procurement technology.
