These programs typically combine classroom learning, on-the-job training, mentoring, and rotational assignments to help participants develop leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills. MDPs are often used by companies to identify and fast-track high-potential employees for future leadership positions. The duration and structure of the program can vary depending on the organization, but the goal is to create a pipeline of qualified managers who understand the company’s culture and operations.
