Position: Assistant Property Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Property Manager to support our Property Manager in all aspects of property management. This role involves significant on-site administrative duties, leasing apartments, and maintaining excellent resident relations. As the Assistant Property Manager, you will step into the lead role when the Property Manager is absent, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming environment for residents and guests.
  • Assist in training, motivating, and supervising the on-site team.
  • Lead property tours, show vacant units, and market property amenities to close sales.
  • Complete lease applications and assist with application verification.
  • Maintain accurate resident records and manage rent collections and deposits.
  • Oversee renewal management, including rent negotiations and lease documentation.
  • Conduct inspections of models, vacant apartments, community grounds, and move-ins/move-outs.
  • Develop and implement promotional programs and resident events.
  • Maintain regular office hours and ensure adequate coverage on weekends and holidays.
  • Ensure compliance with all housing laws and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of property management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/Yardi preferred.
  • High School Diploma required; BA/BS degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.
  • Real Estate License preferred
