Agropur is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join is Beauceville team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees their team and ensures the achievement of key performance objectives (Health & Safety, Quality, Cost, Deadlines, Engagement, Environment) within a collaborative culture. He contributes to the improvement and upkeep of preventive and predictive maintenance best practices.

  • Salary range 005: $84,600 to $105,800 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What you will take ownership of on a daily basis:

  • Manage maintenance employees with a focus on engagement, accountability, and skills development.
  • Ensure the application of the collective agreement while promoting a business-partnership approach with all site stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities through work orders in the CMMS and by issuing various work permits.
  • Participate in work prioritization in collaboration with the plant's various stakeholders.
  • Contribute to failure analysis, continuous improvement initiatives, and problem-solving efforts with work teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, sanitation, and quality programs, including the implementation of quality standards (ISO, HACCP, SQF).
  • Lead performance meetings with the maintenance team.
  • Actively participate in plant committees and support the deployment of various projects.
  • Approve and monitor worked hours, vacation requests, and scheduling.

  • Diploma in Industrial Maintenance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising teams in a unionized environment.
  • Experience in the food processing or manufacturing industry.
  • Technical experience in automation, networking, electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, or related fields.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
