Maintenance Manager

Position Summary

A growing industrial manufacturing and distribution operation is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance activities, improve equipment reliability, and drive operational efficiency across a high-volume production environment. This role is responsible for overseeing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, managing maintenance personnel, supporting capital improvement projects, and ensuring equipment uptime while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support all maintenance operations to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Utilize and maintain CMMS systems to track work orders, maintenance activities, and asset performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and automated equipment issues.
  • Monitor equipment reliability metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage maintenance scheduling to support production demands while maintaining safe work practices.
  • Oversee maintenance inventory, spare parts management, and purchasing activities.
  • Lead maintenance-related capital projects, ensuring completion within budget and timeline expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and development opportunities for maintenance team members.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Partner with plant leadership to evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reporting, and performance tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and industrial maintenance systems.
  • Proven experience managing maintenance operations in a manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume production environment.
  • Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems.

Experience Requirements
