The Full-time Maintenance Assistant will assist our Maintenance Director to support our Plant Operations, and will work Monday through Friday with a rotating weekend on call.

Full-time Maintenance Assistant Qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of Two years of Maintenance experience required
  • One year of Maintenance experience in LTC/Skilled nursing community preferred
  • Experience working in a Person-Directed Care community preferred
  • Practical knowledge of day-to-day maintenance and physical plant upkeep
  • Genuine passion for working with elders
  • Knowledge of health care regulations pertaining to Federal/State/JCAHO surveys preferred
  • Ability to assist in supporting Safety and Emergency Preparedness for community
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Ability to foster team work with coworkers
