Join the Bondex Team:
Bondex is seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department in a fast-paced needle-punch nonwoven manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment reliability, improving uptime, leading preventive maintenance programs, and developing a high-performing maintenance team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all maintenance operations, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility maintenance.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support production goals.
• Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, spare parts, and outside contractors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
• Analyze downtime data and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis.
• Support installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records within the CMMS system.
Qualifications:
•Required 8 or more years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair complex machinery and equipment.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital projects.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
• Experience with nonwoven, textile, paper, converting, or similar continuous manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to visually inspect equipment.
