WAREHOUSE HELPER

Our Warehouse Helpers work under the direction of the Branch Manager and are responsible for operating the warehouse forklift while performing various material handling duties in a safe, customer-oriented manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Safely operate the forklift to store material in warehouse in an organized fashion and pull material as needed to load in customer and branch vehicles.
  • Receiving materials from vendors, verify quantity for accuracy, complete paperwork as appropriate.
  • Assist in taking inventory quarterly or as needed.
  • Maintain warehouse, yard, and trucks in a proper presentable manner. Minor repairs as needed.
  • Responsible for the safe handling of materials and adhering to company safety regulations at all times; including wearing back brace, gloves, shoes, and other safety devices as appropriate.
  • Aiding customers with materials, reporting problems, with deliveries, and service issues.
  • Performs all other tasks as necessary

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
  • Forklift Licensed/Certified
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds of material continually
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the U.S.
