Maintenance Director

Location: Rockmart, GA 30153

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Director to lead and oversee all maintenance operations at our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Rockmart, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SNF maintenance management, ensuring the facility remains safe, efficient, and compliant with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures specific to Skilled Nursing Facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility maintenance and safety.
  • Oversee the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems within the facility.
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruption and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  • Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Director or similar role within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
  • Strong knowledge of SNF maintenance requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant degree preferred.
