Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor - 1st SHIFT 
Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the effective operation of machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role involves implementing maintenance schedules, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to maintain a high standard of production.
Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment in the food processing facility.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with production management to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in food production or manufacturing.
