AmeriBox s is looking for a Manufacturing Director of Operations to help our Business Thrive!

Competitive compensation - commensurate with experience/skills Compensation Range: 120k to 150,000k


Ameribox is seeking a high-caliber, Bilingual (English/Spanish) Director of Operations to lead our box manufacturing facility in Calhoun, GA. This role requires a "heavy hitter" who can act as the vital bridge between our Georgia operations and our Latin American ownership. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our manufacturing process, from maintenance and safety to final output—while overseeing a streamlined office team and reporting directly to our international partners.


The overall development, performance, and maintenance of the organization’s manufacturing activities to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service, and profitability for the organization.


Core Responsibilities:


  1. Executive Communication & Reporting
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Georgia facility and the Latin American operating partners.
  • Translate high-level ownership vision into actionable production strategies for the local team.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of the strategy and general business planning of the organization.


2. Operational Leadership & Manufacturing

  • Direct all manufacturing activities (corrugating and printing), ensuring production targets are met efficiently.
  • Oversee the Maintenance Department, Facility Cleaning, and Safety Compliance to maintain a world-class plant.
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency to support the company’s growth trajectory.
  • Maintain and improve mechanisms for manufacturing and all organization activities, including surveying and measuring the manufacturing operations, process, outcomes, and profitability and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities


3. Organizational Oversight

  • Manage and mentor the office team, providing leadership to the Office Manager, HR Manager, and Customer Service Representative.
  • Foster a cohesive, high-performance culture between the production floor and the administrative office. Ensuring that the team understands that the organization’s profits and achievements are reflected in all its operations and activities – including relationships and risk management.


Required experience/qualifications:


  • Professional-level fluency in Spanish and English. I must be able to conduct business meetings and write technical reports in both languages.
  • Minimum 10+ years in a manufacturing leadership role (Operations Manager, Plant Manager, or Director level).
  • Minimum five (5) years in corrugated box manufacturing or printing
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing production, machinery maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Thorough understanding of business process and management, requirements, and dynamics


  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Outlook/Gmail


  • Deed Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)


  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)


  • Demonstrated experience working with and leading/coaching large teams within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Preferred experience/qualifications:


  • Experience as manufacturing maintenance and/or safety manager is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau a plus
  • Knowledge of CMR systems a plus
  • Budget management a plus
  • Lean/Six Sigma principals a plus
