Job description

Location: 1224 Poinsett Highway Greenville, SC 29609 
Night Shift Work Hours: 7pm - 7am, with expected mandatory additional hours including weekends 
Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour based on experience/ skills 

What we are looking for: 
The Operator, Lettershop is vital in the production and mailing of direct mail campaigns. Duties may include printing, folding, inserting, addressing, and sorting letters, postcards, brochures, or other marketing materials. Ensuring that the direct mail pieces are accurately assembled and processed according to specifications and postal regulations.
What you’ll be doing:

  • Folding, assembly, inserting, packaging, sorting, and mailing. 
  • Operation of mail production equipment while paying attention to details and deadlines. 
  • Set up and adjust equipment for production runs independently. 
  • Troubleshooting of mailing, sorting, folding, and inserting equipment. 
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any deviations. 
  • Work with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve any issues. 

Who you are:

  • Production work experience in a detail-oriented and deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working in a Direct Mail/Lettershop and/or Printing environment preferred.
  • Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.
  • Acquire expertise in USPS postal regulations (knowledge or experience preferred).
  • Work history of longevity, excellent attendance and responsibility (no job hoppers).
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets, maintain and document production processes. 
  • High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility 

Physical Demands: 

  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching 
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds 
  • Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment 

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
