Job description

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Mailbox/Concrete Pad Installer to join our construction team. This position involves making and installing precast concrete pads for cluster mailboxes on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate should have experience with various aspects of concrete work and be willing to travel. Candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, problem-solving, creativity, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques are encouraged to apply.

Duties

  • Prepare sites for mailbox installation and concrete pad construction, including excavation and grading.
  • Mix, pour, and finish concrete using mixers, forms, and finishing tools to create durable pads.
  • Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely during projects.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including Small Articulated Loader, Mini Excavator, and Forklift.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
  • Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration work
  • Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials after each project

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in concrete installation required
  • Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, rebar installation, and heavy equipment operation
  • Willing to travel for out-of-state projects required
  • Strong physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred.
  • Experience with project bidding would be an added bonus.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely while working independently or as part of a team
