Job description

Store Location: 829 Bethel Rd, Columbus, 43214 (Micro Center Complex)

A UPS Store Associate typically helps customers with shipping, printing, mailbox services, and general retail operations. Responsibilities often include:

  • Greeting customers and providing friendly, professional service.
  • Processing domestic and international shipments using UPS and other carriers as available.
  • Packing items securely using appropriate materials.
  • Printing shipping labels and preparing packages for pickup.
  • Operating the cash register and handling payments accurately.
  • Assisting customers with printing, copying, scanning, faxing, and document finishing services.
  • Managing mailbox rentals, package receiving, and customer notifications.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to customer questions about services and pricing.
  • Maintaining inventory by stocking shipping supplies and retail merchandise.
  • Keeping the store clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Following company policies, security procedures, and shipping regulations.
  • Resolving basic customer concerns or escalating issues when needed.
  • Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational goals.
