Job Title

Mail Clerk

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Internal distribution, mail analysis, processing of outgoing mail, controlled mail and facility education
  • General office support work
  • Clerical assignments in a variety of general support areas
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail, including the processing of express mail
  • Opening mail (under strict federal guidelines), date stamping, classifying, processing and routing mail
  • Setting up, operating, adjusting and monitoring the operation of single or multiple function such as mail processing machines-Arranging records for storage/reference, scheduled disposition, and retrieval
  • Performing general filing

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
