Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a leading Print production organization seeking a mail/finishing specialist Level 2 for a 1 year contract! If you have at least 1-2 years of Mail experience this is the perfect role for you! Apply now and call 703-620-6444!

Responsibilities:

  • Mail Processing:
    • Operate high-speed mail equipment (inserters, sorters, etc.).
    • Prepare and process mail, packages, and shipments.
    • Handle electronic mail distribution (scanning, etc.).
    • Perform mail merges and address cleanup.
    • Ensure mail quality through address validation and barcode checks.
    • Manage and track mail, including problem resolution with carriers.
    • Process and record accountable mail.
    • Perform fulfillment tasks like assembly and packaging.
  • Shipping and Receiving:
    • Manage shipping and receiving using automated systems.
    • Prepare shipments using various services (USPS, FedEx, etc.).
    • Complete shipping forms and use shipping terminals.
    • Arrange alternative courier services.
  • Equipment and Maintenance:
    • Operate, clean, and maintain mail and shipping equipment.
    • Troubleshoot and contact service for equipment issues.
  • Administrative and Support:
    • Track and report postage and shipping charges.
    • Manage inventory and order supplies.
    • Maintain mailing address databases.
    • Provide customer service and handle special mailings.
    • Perform data entry and use production mail software.
