Print And Mail Service Specialist

Position Summary

This role supports daily print production and mailroom operations to ensure accurate and timely delivery of outbound patient communications. The position focuses on high-volume document handling, mail preparation, and operational efficiency in a production-driven environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Print outbound patient letters and documentation on a daily basis
  • Operate mailroom equipment, including inserters and postage meters
  • Prepare, sort, and distribute outgoing mail in accordance with carrier requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of printed materials and mail assembly
  • Coordinate daily mail handoff to courier/carrier
  • Track, record, and report daily production and volume metrics
  • Maintain organized workflows and meet daily processing deadlines
  • Respond to basic customer requests or inquiries in a professional manner
  • Monitor and replenish mailroom supplies (paper, envelopes, toner, etc.)
  • Maintains printer fleet tools/databases

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in print production, mailroom operations, or high-volume document handling preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive, production-based tasks with consistency and accuracy
  • Basic comfort with computers and production equipment (no advanced IT knowledge required)
  • Professional demeanor and ability to communicate effectively
Preferred Experience
  • Experience operating inserters, printers, and/or mailroom equipment
  • Familiarity with production metrics tracking or reporting
  • Background in healthcare mail operations or regulated environments (a plus, not required)

  • Requires internal contact within department and with other corporate personnel, and external contact with customers, agencies, vendors, etc.

  • Modest physical effort is required. Work does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that may weigh up to 50 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files and small parts, etc.)
  • Requires moderate dexterity - regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, and eye/hand coordination
