We are excited to find passionate logistics specialists to join our dynamic team. As a company Driver Manager, you will be the vital link between our drivers and the company, ensuring the best interests of both are always represented. We have multiple openings available on all shifts to best fit your schedule.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead and Motivate: Inspire drivers to achieve team objectives and foster a positive work environment.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain proactive and timely communication with Planners, CSRs, and Drivers.
  • Safety First: Monitor and enhance driver safety performance, cultivating a safety-centered culture.
  • Revenue & Mileage Goals: Manage and optimize revenue and mileage targets for drivers and the fleet. Provide guidance to drivers not meeting goals and assign routes for success.
  • Fuel Efficiency: Oversee and improve MPG performance, coaching drivers to meet fuel efficiency standards.
  • Timely Updates: Ensure accurate and prompt updates for ETAs and Total Mail.
  • Issue Resolution: Provide updates to CSR's and Planners about delays or detention situations.
  • Payroll Accuracy: Ensure accurate and complete driver pay and payroll management.
  • Ensure Onetime Delivery: Exceed expectations for our customers.
  • Safe Operations: Ensure drivers operate safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Set Expectations: Establish guidelines for Drivers when they begin at Venture Transport.

What We Need:
  • Knowledge of the Transportation, Operations, and/or Logistics industries required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Familiarity with TMW Office Suite preferred
