Maintenance Technician – Grand Junction, CO (Western Slope Territory)

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking to put your expertise to work on high‑precision metalworking equipment? Join Productivity, Inc. — a leader in machine tool sales, service, and automation integration since 1968.

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with direct Haas machine tool experience (either as a machinist or service technician), along with industrial maintenance and electrical training, to support customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment.

This role supports our customers throughout the Grand Junction area and the Western Slope region. 

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines
  • Machine installations and setup
  • Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
  • Travel locally to customer sites, with 4–6 overnights per month

What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Prior Haas machine tool experience (machinist or service technician required).
  • Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi experience helpful)
  • Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro‑mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel locally throughout the Western Slope
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Compensation and Benefits

  • $30–$39/hour DOE, plus incentives — annual performance & salary reviews
  • Full time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime
