Machine Shop Associate Job Duties:
  • Use hand grinders, belt sanders, and finishing tools to smooth, clean up, and restore metal parts
  • Inspect casted parts for surface flaws, excess material, or imperfections that need rework
  • Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges 
  • Follow detailed work instructions and blueprints to repair parts
 
Schedule: Training on day or swing shift, work schedule TBD but must be open to Day, Swing, or Graveyard
  • Training Schedule Day: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm
  • Training Schedule Swing: Monday–Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm
  • Graveyard: Sunday–Thursday, 10:30pm–6:00am
Pay: $25.69 per hour

Machine Shop Associate Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience required using angle, die, or dynabrade grinders or similar (manufacturing, construction, or autobody)
  • Previous experience required using measuring tools like calipers, gauges, or reading a measuring tape
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions carefully
  • Comfortable wearing a respirator
