What You'll Be Doing:
- Deburring and finishing machined metal parts using hand tools and finishing equipment
- Performing basic assembly of machined components following shop work instructions
- Following work processes for finishing metal parts to make sure everything meets quality standards
- Using basic computer systems to track parts, input production data, and complete forms
- Assisting with material handling, including operating a forklift (training provided if needed)
- Occasionally driving a company delivery van to transport parts or materials locally
- Keeping the shop clean, organized, and running like a well-oiled machine
- Starting your training toward becoming a machine operator and learning the tech that powers modern machining
