Machine Shop Assistant
Location: South El Monte, CA

About the Job

We're hiring a dependable, hands-on Machine Shop Assistant to support our production and inspection teams. This is a physical, on-the-floor roleโ€”not an office job. Youโ€™ll help move materials, keep the shop organized, and assist with essential manufacturing tasks.

If you're looking for a steady, full-time opportunity with great benefits and room to grow, this is a great way to get started in aerospace manufacturing.


What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Cut raw materials using band saws

  • Assist with general bench work and shop tasks

  • Pack, count, and organize finished parts

  • Clean parts and assist with light inspection and assembly

  • Support preventive maintenance and general cleanliness

  • Tag, bag, and label parts for shipping

  • Run parts between departments as needed

  • Support the Gage Lab and Tool Crib

  • Operate forklifts to assist with materials and shipping/receiving


What You Need
  • 1+ year of shop or warehouse experience (preferred)

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)

  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely

  • Forklift experience is a plus


Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, and use hands frequently throughout the shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
