Machine Shop Supervisor â 2nd Shift Location: El Monte, CA Pay: $40.00 â $50.00 per hour Schedule: 2nd Shift | Full-Time Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Machine Shop Supervisor to lead machining and metal fabrication operations for a growing manufacturer in the El Monte area. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing milling and turning operations, supporting production goals, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to drive efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily activities of machine shop personnel on 2nd shift Program, set up, and troubleshoot CNC milling and turning equipment as needed Ensure parts meet engineering specifications and quality standards Manage workflow to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines Train and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety, and quality procedures Monitor tooling, preventive maintenance schedules, and material inventory Collaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly teams to maintain production flow Promote continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity Qualifications: 7+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork Benefits: 401(k) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Opportunities for long-term growth and advancement
