Why This Role Exists

Ricaurte Precision machines complex, tight-tolerance components where quality is non-negotiable. As production grows and automation expands, we need a dedicated CMM Programmer to ensure inspection programs are accurate, efficient, and aligned with GD&T requirements.

This role exists to strengthen RPIโ€™s inspection infrastructure, improve productivity, and ensure customer drawings are verified with precision and consistency.

The Work Youโ€™ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CMM programs (PC-DMIS preferred)
  • Set up and operate Hexagon CMM systems to meet inspection requirements
  • Interpret and apply GD&T from engineering drawings
  • Inspect parts per First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspection standards
  • Select and utilize appropriate gauges and measurement tools
  • Review drawings and documentation to ensure inspection criteria are clearly defined
  • Identify ambiguous or outdated GD&T documentation and drive resolution
  • Assist with SolidWorks model updates and file conversions for programming support
  • Coordinate CMM maintenance, calibration, and system upgrades
  • Support the Quality team with additional inspection tasks as needed
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and inspection efficiency

This is a hands-on programming and inspection role within an AS9100-certified environment.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
