Job Title: Precision Machinist

Location: Camarillo, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Precision Machinist to support the manufacturing of high-quality components using manual and CNC machining equipment. This hands-on role requires strong machining skills, attention to detail, and the ability to produce parts to exact specifications while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment
  • Perform turning, milling, drilling, tapping, reaming, and deburring operations
  • Manufacture parts according to blueprints, drawings, and work order specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments to maintain tight tolerances, including up to .0005 inches
  • Inspect raw materials, work-in-process, and finished components to ensure quality standards are met
  • Identify and report discrepancies, defects, or non-conforming materials
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges
  • Accurately record labor and production information within the ERP system
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and company policies
Leadership Responsibilities (When Applicable)
  • Assist with coordinating daily shop workflow and machine utilization
  • Support training and development of shop personnel
  • Verify completed work before transfer to downstream operations
