Job description

Estimator - Precision Sheetmetal and Machining plays a critical role within a small team as part of the Sales Department, responsible for providing accurate cost assessments and job quotes for manufacturing projects involving sheet metal fabrication and CNC machining. This role involves close interaction with vendors and clients, thorough blueprint interpretation, and precise data documentation to ensure project success without the need for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cost estimation for sheet metal fabrication and machining projects
  • Analyze material requirements and specifications
  • Prepare and deliver job quotes based on project needs
  • Interpret technical blueprints and drawings accurately
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper material and service procurement
  • Communicate effectively with clients to clarify project details and expectations

Preferred Qualifications
