Job description

Hiring Assemblers (Entry Level) - Pay up to $23/hour In Anoka, MN.

Responsibilities :

  • Use a hand grinder to remove rough edges and smooth metal surfaces to a high-quality finish.
  • Polish metal components to achieve a clean, consistent appearance and meet quality standards.
  • Measure and cut metal to specified lengths using a tape measure and appropriate cutting tools.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as brake presses and spot welders after receiving proper training.
  • Perform buffing operations to refine surfaces and prepare parts for painting or final assembly.
  • Rack and prepare parts for the paint process according to established procedures.
  • Assist in assembly, packaging, and paint departments as needed to support overall production flow.

Essential Skills (Not Mandatory) :

  • Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through previous work experience, schooling, or hands-on hobbies.
  • Experience with sheet metal and grinding operations.
  • Hands-on experience with hand and power tools in a manufacturing, fabrication, or similar setting.
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Experience in shop classes such as welding, automotive, woodworking, or machine/tool work.

Pay & Shift :

  • All the shifts are available.
  • Pay is based on Experience - can get higher pay.
  • Entry level candidates with Hobby Mechanical works are accepted too.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $22.75/hr.
