Job Title: Logistics & Operations Coordinator
Location: Richmond, VA Company: A leading distribution company specializing in distribution of Synthetic Fibers for various industrial applications.(automotive, utilities, sporting goods, etc.)
The Role: We are looking for a high-energy, pragmatic individual to manage the critical flow of our warehouse and distribution operations. This is a demanding role that sits at the intersection of customer service and logistics. You'll be responsible for ensuring our inbound and outbound shipments are perfectly timed while directing our forklift team to success.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Freight & Container Management: Schedule all inbound freight, including containers and full truckloads (TL).
  • Outbound Logistics: Coordinate outbound orders across TL and LTL carriers.
  • Operational: Prioritize daily orders and provide clear direction to the forklift operators to keep the warehouse floor efficient.
  • Manufacturing Liaison: Coordinate material transport to and from our third-party processing partners.
  • Customer Documentation: Proactively provide customers with all required shipping documentation and order updates.
  • Administrative Accuracy: Perform check deposits and audit freight invoices to ensure 100% billing accuracy.
