Senior Account Executive - LTL

Paul Logistics is seeking a motivated and strategic Senior Account Executive - LTL to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong understanding of Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transportation, freight brokerage, and supply chain solutions.

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new LTL business opportunities while building long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and has a proven track record of generating revenue through prospecting, consultative selling, and strategic account development.

Identify and pursue new client opportunities within the LTL transportation market. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business and increase revenue. Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events to build a strong sales pipeline. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through onboarding and account growth. Educate prospective customers on Paul Logistics' LTL solutions and value proposition. Analyze customer shipping needs and develop customized LTL transportation solutions. Negotiate rates, service agreements, and pricing strategies with prospective customers. Build and maintain relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and other key decision-makers. Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure successful service execution and customer satisfaction. Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and forecasting through CRM tools. Monitor market trends, carrier capacity, and competitive activity within the LTL industry. Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes and outreach strategies. Promote exceptional customer service and foster long-term client partnerships.

3-5 years of experience in logistics sales, freight brokerage, transportation sales, or business development. Previous experience selling LTL transportation services strongly preferred. Proven track record of developing and closing new business opportunities. Strong understanding of LTL pricing, carrier networks, and transportation operations. Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter with a goal-oriented and adaptable mindset. Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and collaborate across departments.
