Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pre-Op/Post-Op

Position Overview
We are seeking a Pre-Op/Post-Op LPN to join our Ambulatory Surgery Center team. Working alongside RNs, anesthesiologists, and physicians, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PACU and OR environment.
This role supports patients undergoing cataract, glaucoma, corneal, and vision correction procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for surgery and manage post-operative recovery and discharge
  • Monitor patients during sedation in collaboration with anesthesia providers
  • Provide direct patient care in Pre-Op and PACU settings
  • Collect and assess patient health data
  • Assist physicians during treatments and procedures
  • Ensure physician orders are completed accurately and timely
  • Maintain compliance with clinical policies and safety standards
  • Collaborate with RNs and ancillary staff to support patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • Active LPN license (State required)
  • 1+ year experience in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • IV therapy experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
