LPN Anesthesia Tech Position Summary
The LPN Anesthesia Tech works under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist to provide direct patient care. The LPN Anesthesia Tech participates with the Anesthesiologist in preparing a broad spectrum of patients for surgery and the insertion of invasive lines. The inventory/distribution of medication may be required.
LPN Anesthesia Tech Position Requirements
  • Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Must hold a license in the state of permanent residency.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Medical Surgical experience is preferred but not required
  • Provide on the job training

LPN Anesthesia Tech Work Schedule
  • May be assigned to day, evening, or night shifts or a combination per departmental policy.
  • Scheduled off at least three holidays per year.
  • Required to work weekends per unit need.
  • Expected to work overtime on occasion.
