Employment Litigation Associate Attorney โ€“ Mid to Senior Level (Los Angeles or San Francisco)

Direct Counsel is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate to join a well-regarded national law firm with a leading California employment practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney looking to work on sophisticated employment defense matters in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of four years of experience handling employment litigation matters.

  • A strong understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations.

  • Experience with class actions and PAGA matters preferred, though not required.

  • Prior experience at a large defense firm or boutique handling complex employment litigation.

The associateโ€™s practice will focus on a mix of employment litigation, including class actions, PAGA, and single-plaintiff cases.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

  • Active membership (or pending membership) with the California State Bar.

  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

  • A team-oriented mindset and strong client service orientation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $255,000โ€“$330,000, depending on experience.
