Job description

We are a Twenty attorney plaintiff-side employment law firm based in Los Angeles, focused on representing employees in high-impact wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters. We are seeking a 1-5 year Associate Attorney to join our Wage & Hour Class Action Department.

Associates are trained to manage cases under senior attorney supervision and are encouraged to take an active role in all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities

As a Class Action Associate, you will:

  • Represent employees in wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters, including claims involving unpaid overtime, meal and rest breaks, and unreimbursed business expenses

  • Draft and argue motions and other substantive pleadings

  • Take and defend depositions

  • Participate in case strategy and client advocacy

  • Appear in court and actively litigate matters

  • Work on complex cases involving regional, national, and Fortune 500 employers

This role offers significant exposure to both state and federal plaintiff-side class action litigation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing (or awaiting admission)

  • 1-5 years of experience in employment law, wage and hour, class action, or PAGA matters preferred. (Recently barred attorneys with relevant internships or clerkships are encouraged to apply)

  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage deadlines and handle increasing responsibility

This position is 100% in-person at our brand new 22,000 square feet Downtown Los Angeles office.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $125,000 - $190,000 annually, commensurate with experience
